EBOS Group announces its next CEO
EBOS Group – Australasia’s leading health and animal care company – is pleased to announce that it has appointed John Cullity as its next Chief Executive Officer.
He will assume the position on 31 March 2018 from Patrick Davies, who has decided to step back from his current role and has agreed to continue in a contract role within the Group to assist with new and emerging opportunities.
Mr Cullity is currently EBOS Group’s Chief Financial Officer, and has a deep knowledge of the organisation having been with the Group for eight years. He was also previously CFO of Symbion.
“I am delighted to have been chosen by the Board to lead EBOS into the next stage of our growth,” Mr Cullity said.
“As a team, we have successfully worked to deliver on a planned strategy of diversifying the business through acquisitions and market expansion.
“We will continue to look for opportunities for further growth to extend the Group’s revenue and earnings streams in the future.”
Patrick Davies, who was CEO of Symbion for eight years before taking over the helm at EBOS in 2014, will work with John to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
“It’s been a privilege to have led EBOS during a period of great expansion for the Group and I’m very fortunate to have worked with so many talented and dedicated staff over the years,” Mr Davies said.
“In particular, it’s been great working closely with John on a wide range of acquisitions and investments to grow the Group substantially over that period.
“He has been pivotal to the success of those transactions and to our growth throughout the region. I’m delighted the Board has appointed him, and wish him well for the future.”
