EBOS Group empowers Healthcare and Animal Care businesses in restructure
EBOS Group – Australasia’s leading healthcare and animal care company – has announced a restructure of the organisation’s executive following a review by incoming Chief Executive Officer John Cullity.
Aimed at continuing the Group’s strong growth trajectory, which saw it deliver record first-half earnings for the six months to 31 December 2017, the restructure will create focused Executive Teams for EBOS’ Healthcare and Animal Care/Consumer Products divisions.
“In recent years, the Group has embarked on a series of major investments and strategic acquisitions, which has seen our Healthcare and Animal Care/Consumer Brands businesses grow to a scale demanding specialised executive leadership teams,” Mr Cullity said.
“This restructure ensures that both segments are appropriately resourced with experienced senior executives to capture the opportunities in front of them and allow each to deliver on their strategic goals.”
Heading up the Healthcare division is newly appointed Symbion CEO Brett Barons, who transitions from his current role as Executive General Manager – Pharmacy, while incumbent Animal Care CEO Sean Duggan will oversee the Animal Care and Consumer Brands division.
“EBOS operates in markets that are constantly evolving and as such our organisational structure needs to be agile and responsive to these forces,” Mr Cullity said.
“The Group has been successful because we are able to move quickly and decisively. The new executive structure will allow our momentum to continue and sees Brett and Sean supported by high quality executive teams who will continue in key leadership roles.
EBOS Group’s new organisational structure takes effect April 1, 2018.
